Ruffian SS 2012 (in) Backstage New York Fashion Week

Glad to be able to share a part of my fashion week adventures with WLYK, whose founders share my love and respect for the models and designers of New York Fashion Week. WLYK went backstage at the Ruffian S/S 12 show with Bonae L’amour in a special collaboration and we’ve got the pictures to prove it. Getting to chat with the designer duo as well as the stunning new faces in the cast was an surreal experience and we hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did the experience. We’d like to give Damian a huge thank you for providing us with these beautiful photos.

It was the first catwalk for all the girls that morning. The look for the show was nonchalant Parisian girl. Eyes were smoky and sultry while hair were kept sleek and shiny in a low ponytail. Backstage Tory Burch SS 2012 Makeup Ready… Love Valerija! I was so busy in Europe that I was ignorant of much of the commotion she made after leaving New York. I think it was best for me to develop my own unbiased feelings… Valerija is a very beautiful and memorable girl with a great personality along with a strong sense of style and confidence for someone her age. If I had a Top 10 Newcomers list, she would be on it. I know she was 15 when she walked NYFW and I do believe in age requirements, but Valerija is my exception this season because she is just amazing! Look at her!
